Ryoka Systems to distribute BiosolveIT products in Japan
July 2007
SHARING OPTIONS:

TOKYO—Ryoka Systems Inc., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corp., has signed a software distribution agreement for Japan with cheminformatics provider BioSolveIT GmbH, headquartered in St. Augustin, Germany.

This agreement solves the issue of distribution, local contact and support for Japanese customers. The synergy effects are expected to be dramatic, as Ryoka Systems also partners with Canada-based Chemical Computing Group Inc. (CCG), to distribute their drug design and modeling platform MOE. BioSolveIT and Chemical Computing Group are currently working to integrate the two informatics packages.

"I am certain that this will be one of the most fruitful collaborations we ever had, says Christian Lemmen, CEO of BioSolveIT. "Ryoka's enormously high reputation and expertise in life science IT software will help us deliver the finest, fully tailored solutions to our valued Japanese customers."
