XDx selects Ingenuity’s IPA 5.0
August 2007
SHARING OPTIONS:

BRISBANE, Calif.—In mid-July, XDx, a molecular diagnostics company, licensed IPA 5.0, the flagship product of Redwood City, Calif.-based Ingenuity Systems, a provider of solutions to explore, analyze, and interpret scientific literature and data. XDx is one of the first companies to develop and commercialize practical applications built on insights from the Human Genome Project, and the company has developed a proprietary new method for noninvasively monitoring the immune system by measuring gene expression in a patient's peripheral blood.

"We chose IPA because it best meets our objective to identify and understand biomarkers associated with immune-mediated diseases," says Dr. Tod Klingler, vice president of informatics at XDx. "IPA allows us to make sense of our gene expression data in the context of known immune system interactions and pathways."
