Immunoassay kit, R&D Systems
September 2005
SHARING OPTIONS:

The new Quantikine Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV (DPPIV) Kit (Cat# DC260) is now available from R&D Systems. DPPIV, also known as CD26 and ADA-complexing Protein 2, is a serine protease that interacts with ADA and CD45, providing a co-stimulating signal to the CD3/T cell receptor complex. It also cleaves many chemokines containing an Xaa-Pro motif at the N-terminus, truncates the N-terminus of Procalcitonin, and degrades many peptide hormones including Glucagon-like Peptide-1. DPPIV inhibitors are being developed and tested in late-stage clinical trials for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. This kit is a fully validated immunoassay designed to measure human DPPIV in cell culture supernates, serum, plasma, saliva, and urine. It has an assay range of 0.31-20 ng/mL and the sensitivity is typically <0.072 ng/mL.
