microRNA arrays, Acacia Research Corp.
February 2006
SHARING OPTIONS:

Acacia Research Corp. announced that its CombiMatrix group has launched a series of catalog microarrays specifically designed for microRNA analysis.  MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small, RNA molecules encoded in the genomes of plants and animals. There is evidence that miRNAs may act as key regulators of processes as diverse as early development, cell proliferation and cell death, apoptosis and fat metabolism, and cell differentiation. The CombiMatrix's portfolio of miRNAs includes arrays that can be used in studies for human, dog, rat, mouse, and other plants and animals. According to CombiMatrix, the versatility of its platform technology enables CombiMatrix to launch a large number of arrays and will facilitate the update of each array as new miRNA sequences are discovered, providing the most up-to-date and comprehensive arrays available on the market.
