Spectronics Corporation announces the Select XLE-Series UV crosslinker, an ultraviolet crosslinker that enables the identification and analysis of trace amounts of DNA/RNA with greater sensitivity and accuracy than conventional analysis. The system covalently binds nucleic acids to membranes in less than 30 seconds, offering significant improvements over the speed of vacuum-oven baking. A true-UV-monitoring circuitry protects test results from washouts, and the crosslinker also features a fully programmable microprocessor, an auto-repeat function and five 8-watt tubes. The Select Series is available in 254nm, 312nm and 365nm versions.
