Novus Biologicals to sell Dylight Dyes with its antibodies

ROCKFORD, Ill.Novus Biologicals, a privately held, Colorado-based antibody and proteomics company, will sell Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.'s DyLight Fluorescent Dyes in combination with Novus' extensive line of antibodies, per a global, non-exclusive agreement the companies announced in August. Novus conjugates DyLight Dyes to its range of affinity-purified antibodies to meet a variety of needs for sensitive fluorescent detection. According to Novus, the performance of its antibodies, combined with the brightness of DyLight Dyes, provides the life science research market a means for achieving brilliant, multicolor analysis in fluorescence microscopy, Western blotting, flow cytometry and related fluorescent applications. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
